This Privacy Policy explains what information ClinyPal collects, how it's used, and the choices available to clinics and patients whose data passes through the platform.
ClinyPal collects account information (name, email, business details) from the clinics who sign up, and clinical/administrative information (patient records, appointments, billing) entered by those clinics in the course of running their practice. We also collect standard technical data (IP address, browser type, device information) for security and reliability purposes.
Patient data entered into ClinyPal belongs to the clinic that entered it, not to ClinyPal. We process it as a service provider on the clinic's behalf, under the terms of our Data Processing Agreement, and never sell or use it for advertising.
Account and usage information is used to provide and improve the service, communicate with clinics about their account, and meet legal and security obligations. Aggregated, de-identified usage patterns may inform product decisions, but never in a way that re-identifies a patient or clinic.
Clinical and billing records are retained for as long as a clinic's account is active, plus any additional period required by applicable healthcare record-retention law. A clinic can export or request deletion of its data at any time, subject to those same legal retention requirements.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or request deletion of personal data. Patients should contact their clinic directly, since the clinic, not ClinyPal, controls their record. Clinics can reach us directly for account-level requests.
We'll post material changes to this page and, where required, notify account administrators directly.
